More than 75 LANJ members and guests attended the meeting. The CEO of Chosen Payments is Jeff Brodsly, one of the industry's most active supporters of trade associations. What's The Word On East Street? ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — While you can make lame excuses not to attend a LCT-NLA East Show, you can find plenty of reasons to go, or discover them once you're there. LCT sampled operators on the spot about the B2B benefits of the industry's leading East Coast trade show event. By Lexi Tucker, LCT assistant editor In true LCT tradition, attendees in the aisles have plenty to say about the show and why they come. "I'VE BEEN COMING TO THE NLA-LCT SHOW EAST SINCE THE THIRD SHOW. IT PROVIDES ME WITH A CHANCE TO GET OUT AND MEET PEOPLE, AS WELL AS FURTHER MY BUSINESS WORLDWIDE BY MAKING NEW CONNECTIONS." — Matt Silver, owner, Ultimate Class Limousine, Long Island, N.Y. "We came to meet new American companies to affiliate with, and we became NLA members. Everyone has been very friendly. We are also looking into purchasing Limo Anywhere [product]." — Bilal Kaddouri and David Davidovici, DVS Limousine Service, Schwalbach Am Taunus, Germany "I came to meet East Coast operators and look at new equipment like GPS and in-vehicle WiFi. I learned everyone has staffing challenges, no matter how big or small an operation. I can't wait for Vegas!" — Julie Hatter, owner, La Bella Chauffeurs, Long Beach, Calif. "The Show provides me with excellent networking opportunities and enables me to look at all the new products out there. I always come back home with new ideas." — George Monsour, Sunny Limos Of The Hamptons, Westhampton, N.Y. "The Show gives me a way to connect with affiliates in person, and learn new things going on in the industry. I think many operators learn how to better improve ourselves, and it gives us a chance to provide our expertise to those who need it. I'm looking into signing on with Rental Limo, and I really enjoyed the small operator roundtable discussions." — Brandon Tiet, president, Duke's Limousine, Inc., Honolulu, Hawaii "WE CAME TO PICK UP BETTER RESOURCES, CHOOSE RESERVATION APPS THAT WILL INTEGRATE INTO OUR OWN SYSTEM, AND LEARN MORE ABOUT CREATING PROPOSALS. WE ARE ALSO LOOKING INTO UPFITTING OUR VEHICLES TO MEET NEW CLIENT DEMANDS. THE SHOW GIVES US A CHANCE TO ENGAGE AND CONNECT WITH EXISTING AFFILIATES, AS WELL AS SOLIDIFY OUR PARTNERSHIPS SO I CAN KNOW WHO TO CALL MORE QUICKLY WHEN I NEED SOMETHING. THIS WAS MY FIRST NLA-LCT SHOW EAST AND I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH." — Nick Lopez, director of sales and marketing, JACO Limousine & Transportation, Louisville, Ky.
